There are several types of Diabetes which is type 1 diabetes, type2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes. Type 2 diabetes occurs when the pancreas does not make enough insulin, the insulin does not work properly, or both. Being overweight makes type 2 diabetes more likely to occur. It can happen in a person of any age. Type 1 diabetes occurs when the pancreas cannot make insulin. Without insulin sugar piles up in your blood vessels, People with type 1 diabetes must take insulin to help get the sugar into the cells. Type 1 diabetes often starts in younger people or in children which is called juvenile diabetes. Gestational diabetes occurs during pregnancy in some women. Hormone changes during pregnancy prevent insulin from working properly. Women with gestational diabetes usually need to take insulin. The condition may resolve after birth of the child. If you have diabetes, you will need to plan your meals and follow a "diabetes diet" choosing food that works with your diabetes & works along with your activities and any medications to keep your blood sugar levels as close to normal as possible. carbohydrate foods contain many essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Diabetes can be hereditary if it runs in your family you have a greater risk of getting it. Steps 1. Test yourself regularly to keep track of your sugar levels. Step 2 Eat healthier and less fatty foods, try eating sugar free foods. Step 3 Exercise as it's essential part of your health.b>Step 4. Try to eat Salt Substitutes as salt/sodium can raise your Diabetes up as well as give you Hypertension/High Blood Pressure. Tip: Choose foods with the most nutrients, like whole-grain breads and baked goods, and high-fiber fruits and vegetables. You may find it easier to select the best carbs if you meet with a dietitian. Warnings: Stay away from fried and greasy foods.
